This is my attempt to make space exploration and astronomy accessible to everyone, no matter which language they speak.
I noticed that there is almost no online resource which provides data and information about space launches in Hindi (My mother tongue). And then in order to fix this problem, I decided to create an online space (pun intended) where we could access upcoming launches in 24 regional languages of India, all at one place and totally free of cost.
The launches endpoint covers the upcoming launches sorted by T-0 (time of launch).
Which means that the latest upcoming launch would be on the top of the list and the furthest launch from current time would be on the bottom of the list. I also archive the past launches which have been covered here at the archive endpoint.
The data is availabe in these languages: Assamese, Kashmiri (Arabic script), Punjabi, Bengali, Kashmiri (Devanagari script), Sanskrit, Bodo, Maithili, Santali, Dogri, Malayalam, Sindhi, Konkani, Manipuri (Bengali), Tamil, Gujarati, Manipuri (Meitei script), Telugu, Hindi, Nepali, Urdu, Kannada, Odia.
There are some considerations and more opportunities related to this project discussed in the About page.
